Those interested in serving in the 2024 University Senate or its committees are invited to express their interest using an online survey by March 1.
Some positions will be elected while others will be appointed.
The committees play important roles in shaping and sustaining the quality of University of Oregon’s academic mission. Issues being tackled include invisible and inequitable service, new academic initiatives, updating curriculum development, faculty recruitment and retention, and modernizing UO policies.
Those serving on the Senate — comprised of tenure and career faculty, students and staff — help strengthen shared governance at the UO.
