Beatrice Dohrn, director of the Nonprofit Clinic at the UO School of Law, will moderate a panel discussion focused on “Trans* Law: Opportunities and Futures” in Room 110, Knight Law Center on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Panelists are Paisley Currah, a professor at Brooklyn College and City University of New York who has written widely on transgender rights, and Asaf Orr, staff attorney for the Transgender Youth Project at the National Center for Lesbian Rights, one of the nation’s leading advocacy organizations for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
