Pedestrian traffic diverted to west side of Agate Street near Unthank Hall

Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.

Employees can stay informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.

The latest notifications include:

New:     

  • Lillis Hall emergency elevator shut down. 
  • Villard Hall Room 345 floor refinishing work, through Sept. 14.
  • Tykeson Hall air conditioning energy reduction between scheduled events and classes in specific spaces began Aug. 31.
  • Agate Street pedestrian traffic diverted to the west side of the street near Unthank Hall during sidewalk work, through Sept. 1.
  • Ford Alumni Center exterior window cleaning, through Sept 4.
  • KWAX Studio compressor installation, Sept. 4.
  • Chapman Hall exterior window cleaning, Sept. 8-11.

Updated:

  • Willamette Hall Reroofing Project: Construction fencing area to be expanded. Storm drain work begins, motorized vehicle access to the ramp will be closed and the building’s northwest emergency exit will be closed.
  • Allen Hall and Friendly Hall Sanitary Pipe Project: The date has been revised through Sept. 18.
  • Portland North and South Holman Street Apartments Reroofing Project: The completion date has been extended to Sept. 25.
