Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.
Employees can stayed informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.
The latest notifications include:
New:
- 1685 Columbia Alley roof replaced, through May 7.
- Summer campus fire system testing and maintenance work has begun, affecting numerous buildings.
- Portland Gymnasium southeast entrance closed due to wheelchair lift work, May 5.
- Lillis Business Complex trash and cardboard dumpsters relocated during the Street Faire, May 6-11.
- Outdoor event between University Hall and Villard Hall will produce noise, May 7.
Updated:
- Klamath Hall Room 019B Autoclave Installation Project: Electrical work in Room 039 will produce intermittent/brief loud noise, May 7.
- Portland Child Behavioral Health Building Project: Domestic and industrial water will be shut down affecting Campus Center, Innovation Building, East Residence Hall, Holman St. Apartments and 30th Avenue Apartments, May 9.
- Portland Child Behavioral Health Building Project: Concrete grinding in the building footprints of Elizabeth and Weber halls will cause loud noise, May 11-15.
- Klamath Hall Room 019B Autoclave Installation Project: Power will be offline to the entire building, for one hour, to tie in a new 480 electrical service for the autoclave, May 14.
- Lot 43 (south of Knight Law Center) Asphalt Replacement Project: Work has been rescheduled for May 18-June 12.
