Robert Guldberg to address Oregon innovation event

Robert Guldberg, vice president and Robert and Leona DeArmond Executive Director of the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact, will be the keynote speaker at an event highlighting invention and innovation at Oregon research universities.

“Bio in the Valley: Path to Innovation” is hosted by the Oregon Bioscience Association. The full event, slated for the afternoon of Dec. 6 at the Ford Alumni Center, features a VIP tour at Thermo Fisher Scientific US, an open session and networking opportunity, and a virtual tour of the Knight Campus.

Guldberg is slated to speak at 4 p.m. In addition to Guldberg, speakers include Christina Tom with Magnosys, Matt Beaudet with NemaMetrix, and Kyle Gee from Thermo Fisher. Focused networking time with the presenters, colleagues and other entrepreneurs also will be included.
