Tykeson Hall chair rail installation begins

Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.

Employees can stayed informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.

The latest notifications include:

New:   

• Miller Theatre elevator is offline for an emergency repair, Sep. 16 until completed.
• Oregon Hall (4^th floor only) heating and cooling will be offline due to an emergency AHU-4 shutdown, Sep. 22 until completed.
• Tykeson Hall chair rail installation in rooms 32, 140, 204, 233, 240, and 340, Sep. 22 – Oct. 3.
• Onyx Bridge, Klamath Hall, and Price Science Commons access and surrounding sidewalks affected by the movement of highly reactive materials in preparation for disposal, Sep. 22.
• Allen Hall domestic water shut down to replace broken isolation valve, Sep. 24.
• UO Portland 6617 NE 27^th Ave single residence roofing work, Sep. 29 – Oct. 7.

Updated:

• DELAYED: 1715 Franklin east entrance glass to be replaced above the main doors, date to be determined.
• BUILDING CHANGE: Alder Building, instead of 1776 Millrace, will undergo fire systems testing and maintenance, Sep. 24.
