The University of Oregon is included as a top value in a new ranking by the website BestValueSchools.com, which rates public colleges and universities based on students' expected return on investment.

The new rankings use data from several sources, including U.S. News and World Report and PayScale. BestValueSchools.com ranks the schools by region: Northeastern U.S., Southern U.S., Midwest and Western U.S.
The website rates a degree at the UO as the 12th-best value in the Western Region, based on expected return on investment over a 30-year period.
