The self-defense section runs for 90 minutes followed by a 60-minute pepper spray class in 119 Fenton Hall. The sessions are open to UO employees and students with no preregistration.
The basic self-defense class incorporates risk awareness discussion with simple physical techniques. The pepper spray class focuses on when and how to deploy pepper spray and what type of product works best. Participants can attend both classes or choose to join just self-defense or pepper spray.
