UO’s Wired Humanities Projects has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities that will fund a summer institute for teachers on Mesoamerican cultures.
Teachers (K-12) across the U.S. who want to enhance their curriculum with content about Mexican indigenous peoples and their histories will compete for 30 places with the trip to Oaxaca. The program will soon announce exact dates and locations in the city.
The institutes increase the content and understanding of Mesoamerican culture and history within primary and secondary education.
