The nomination deadline for the UO Libraries' annual Undergraduate Research Awards is Feb. 10. The program awards students who have completed outstanding research projects or papers with the use of library resources and service in the past calendar year.
UO faculty are encouraged to look for top-quality papers written by their students in 2013; students may also directly submit their own work. Students can earn up to $1,500 for completed research work.
Awards are given in two categories: 300-level and above course papers and projects completed in one term, and theses or projects developed over a period of time longer than one term. To be eligible, papers, projects and theses must have been completed in winter, spring, summer or fall terms of 2013.
Awards will be announced in March. Information about the student application process is available on the Undergraduate Research Awards webpage.
