The Holden Center for Leadership and Community Engagement is seeking presenters for the inaugural Leadership Summit, on Saturday, May 11 in the EMU.
University of Oregon faculty members, staff and students are encouraged to share their knowledge through 50-minute workshops that engage participants on the topic “Conducting Change: Empowering the Leader in Everyone.”
“We’re looking for innovative workshops that will involve students as active learners,” said Sarah Blanchard, coordinator of leadership and community engagement at the Holden Center. “It’s also important that these presentations be inclusive and examine how intersecting identities play a role leadership. Our goal is for students to recognize that they can be leaders every day, and inspire them to take action and serve.”
Presenters can apply online. All presenter proposals must be submitted by March 31. Presenters will be selected and notified in mid-April.
Online registration for students to attend the summit will open on April 1 on the Holden Center website.
