Following days of high winds and rain, a large California incense cedar fell on Fenton Hall early on Thursday, Dec. 10. No injuries were reported, and damage assessment is continuing.Landscape maintenance supervisor Phil Carroll said the tree fell about 1 a.m. during gusty winds. A crane was brought in Saturday and crews were able to remove the tree with no further damage to the building.The tree is approximately 100 years old, almost as old as Fenton Hall itself, which was built in 1909.
