The annual gathering focused on the role education and research plays in Oregon’s economy.

The university is working to address dozens of recomendations contained in three separate reports looking at ways to improve responses.

The discount is available to faculty and staff for the Sept. 5 game against Eastern Washington and the Sept. 19 game against Georgia State.

Reed is currently the vice chancellor for legal affairs and general counsel at UCLA and will begin work at the UO on Oct. 5.

The three-year agreement includes 8 percent raises, protections for non-tenure-track faculty and flexibility funding contingent positions.
