Fall Presidential Research Lecture to be presented tonight (Oct. 30)

The University of Oregon's fall 2013 Presidential Research Lecture will be presented beginning at 7 p.m. today at 182 Lillis Hall by Edward J. Kame'enui, Dean Knight Professor of Education and founding director of the UO's Center on Teaching and Learning.

Kame'enui's talk on the "architecture of instruction" is free and open to the public. It will also be live-streamed online.

O Heroes visits Boys and Girls Club Wednesday

With a Halloween theme this year, O Heroes will host the "O"lympics on Wednesday as part of the Boys and Girls Club of Emerald Valley's Fall Festival. 

O Heroes, made up of student-athletes from every varsity team at Oregon, will be at the 1545 West 22nd Avenue Boys and Girls Club location from 3-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with a variety of activities.

Any child can attend, not just members of the Boys and Girls Club. 

Will Glasson named associate director of external relations for UO law

The University of Oregon School of Law is welcoming back alumnus Will Glasson as the associate director of external relations.

Glasson, an active entrepreneur and 2006 graduate of the law school, has worked for various firms and companies, filling counsel, management and operations roles. His practice focused on assisting technology, athletic, outdoors and hospitality businesses with complex transactional, intellectual property, and privacy and data security matters.
