The University of Oregon School of Law is welcoming back alumnus Will Glasson as the associate director of external relations.
Glasson, an active entrepreneur and 2006 graduate of the law school, has worked for various firms and companies, filling counsel, management and operations roles. His practice focused on assisting technology, athletic, outdoors and hospitality businesses with complex transactional, intellectual property, and privacy and data security matters.
"I look forward to working with prospective and current students, alumni and employers and to developing programs and outreach activities that reemphasize the law school's reputation as Oregon's premier legal college,” Glasson said.
As associate director of external relations, Glasson will be based in Portland where he will focus on employer outreach, career-related counseling for students and alumni, admissions, development and alumni affairs.
Glasson’s “tremendous energy and innovative ideas will, without doubt, advance the interests of Oregon law and its graduates in Portland and beyond," said Rebekah Hanley, assistant dean for career planning and professional development.
