The search for a new leader for the University of Oregon’s efforts to prevent and respond to sexual assault continues in early January when an additional candidate will come to campus for interviews and a public presentation.
The chair of the search committee, Kathie Stanley, said they were not able to reach agreement with a desired candidate from the last set of interviews.
“Fortunately, however, we have identified an additional finalist from the pool whom we are bringing to campus,” Stanley said.
The additional candidate will be on campus Jan. 4 and 5. The full schedule is not set, but because the interviews follow winter break, Stanley is notifying campus and stakeholder groups now to be sure people can attend if interested.
The final schedule and candidate information will be posted on the Office of the President’s website here as soon as it is available.
