During April – the “Month of the Young Child” – hundreds of university-affiliated children will have their artwork on display in an exhibit in the HEDCO building.

“It is a wonderful opportunity for the campus to celebrate some of its youngest members,” said Becky Lamoureaux, director of the Moss Street Children’s Center.

The third annual Art of Childhood Exhibit is a collaborative effort of the three campus childcare centers – Moss Street Children’s Center, Vivian Olum Child Development Center and Co-op Family Center.

The exhibit includes art from infants through children in fifth grade, including group work, individual work, and both two- and three-dimensional forms.

“It is a delight to see the world through the eyes of young children as they express themselves developmentally appropriately,” said Lamoureaux. “The university does a fantastic job of supporting high quality childcare programs and this event is a great way to see this investment come to life.”
