The Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics is accepting applications through Jan. 6 for its Graduate Research Fellows program.
A $3,000 award is given each year to three University of Oregon graduate students, in any discipline or profession, to pursue interdisciplinary public policy research. The award is intended to help cover expenses for students who are writing master’s theses or dissertations at the UO and to commission research on Wayne Morse. Applicants must be students during the fellowship year.
The program’s 2019-21 theme is Science, Policy and the Public, with a concentration on genetic technologies and the range of ethical, social, political and legal questions related to them.
The Wayne Morse Center’s current theme of inquiry and the priorities of the center’s Program for Democratic Governance, as well as research on Wayne Morse, are part of the Wayne Morse Monograph series.
More information on how to apply can be found on the Wayne Morse Center’s website.
