A candidate for the UO’s new position of assistant vice president for sexual assault and Title IX coordinator will be on campus June 2 to give a presentation and meet with faculty and students.

Jennifer Hammat, associate vice president for compliance services at the University of Texas at Austin, will give a presentation at 3 p.m. in Room 16, Pacific Hall. She will discuss “Getting it Right: Overcoming Obstacles and Forging a Campus-wide Response to Sexual Assault.”

Following her talk, Hammat will take part in a 25-minute question-and-answer session. Those who wish to offer feedback on Hammat’s candidacy should email Brenda Porter at bporter@uoregon.edu.
