David Woken has been hired by UO Libraries as the as new history and Latin American studies librarian.

Woken will oversee development of collections and services to support the instructional and research needs of the Department of History and the interdisciplinary programs of Medieval Studies and Latin American Studies. He will also assist the library's Reference and Research Services Unit.

Woken earned his master's degree in library and information studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his master's degree in Latin American history from Indiana University, Bloomington.
