The University of Oregon community is invited to celebrate the diversity of recreation at the Department of Physical Education and Recreation’s second annual Inclusive Rec Expo on Thursday, Feb. 15.
The event is from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center. Students, faculty and staff of all abilities can participate in a variety of free activities promoting inclusivity at The Rec. From adaptive activities to cultural groups, the Inclusive Rec Expo highlights all the ways Ducks can find their fit at the rec center.
Activities and events will include:
- Adaptive rock climbing at the climbing wall.
- Wheelchair sports and Special Olympics basketball on the Uptown Courts.
- Blindfolded yoga in Studio 283.
- Group activities with a variety of organizations, including Hong Kong Student Association, Arab Student Organization, Chinese Culture, Hawaiian Culture and Women of Color Coalition.
