Faculty board trustee will hold office hours

Gerard Sandoval

Professor Gerard F. Sandoval, as the faculty member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon, will host office hours open to all faculty members in advance of the Dec. 9-10 board of trustees meeting

Sandoval will host two opportunities to meet participants’ preferred method of engagement: private office hours with a confidential space for discussing sensitive issues discreetly, and a more informal open drop-in where faculty can engage with Sandoval and one another. Email the board office at trustees@uoregon.edu to set up a Nov. 20 appointment.

The schedule and format are:

  • Private office hours via appointment:
Thursday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon
    147A Hendricks Hall
  • Open office drop-in:
Friday, Dec. 5, from noon to 2 p.m.
140 Erb Memorial Union (Rogue Room)

Sandoval, professor of planning, public policy and management, and a former UO Senate president, joined the board Oct. 1 and has been at the UO for over fifteen years. The non-faculty staff trustee, graduate trustee and student trustees will also hold office hours in advance of the Dec. 9-10 board meeting; dates and times will be announced.
