Interviews set in search for next Title IX, civil rights leader

Remote interviews of four candidates for the UO’s next associate vice president, chief civil rights officer and Title IX coordinator will be conducted Tuesday, July 28, through Monday, Aug. 3.

Candidate presentations will be posted on the Office of the President’s website at 9 a.m. on the day of the interview and will be available for 48 hours after they are posted. A link to a survey will also be posted with the videos to submit feedback on each presentation.

Candidate interviews are currently scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, July 28: Candidate A
  • Wednesday, July 29: Candidate B
  • Thursday, July 30: Candidate C
  • Monday, Aug. 3: Candidate D

The next steps for candidates, including a possible campus visit, will be determined by the search committee following the interviews. Any on-campus interview would only include a small number of individuals from the university community specifically invited to participate in order to ensure physical distancing measures and compliance with university health regulations.

The broader university community is encouraged to submit feedback on the candidate presentations as they are available.
