An exhibit containing President John F. Kennedy memorabilia is on display in the University of Oregon’s Knight Library Special Collections and University Archives, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of his assassination on Nov. 22, 1963.
The display can be found in the Paulson Reading Room on the second floor and includes items such as a photo of Kennedy visiting campus circa 1958, signed correspondence between Kennedy and Oregon Senator Wayne Morse, a hand-written letter from First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and a program for a memorial service held on the UO campus one day after Kennedy’s assassination.
The collection will be available during viewing hours until Dec. 5. Special Collections will be closed Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.
