Make a difference with the Oregon Employees’ Charitable Fund Drive

Since 1989, the Oregon Employees' Charitable Fund Drive has provided a simple way for University of Oregon employees to give back. The drive benefits nonprofit organizations that tackle some of the most pressing issues in Eugene-Springfield, Lane County and Oregon, such as human rights, disaster relief, arts and culture, food insecurity, housing and environmental concerns.

When you donate, every dollar goes directly to the organizations you choose. All contributions are tax deductible. Pooling our donations via the Charitable Fund Drive reduces overhead for the nonprofits and allows them to forecast donations more accurately.

In the 2023 drive, 199 UO employees raised over $118,000. Consider donating so we can beat that effort this year.

How to participate: Visit the Charitable Fund Drive website to learn more and make a donation. You can donate via monthly payroll deduction or give a one-time gift.

Choose from over 850 nonprofits: Not sure where to donate? The Giving Guide lists the options. You can support causes of your choice by designating one or several organizations. Options in Lane County include the Eugene Family YMCA, the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, Food for Lane County, HIV Alliance, Transponder and many, many more. You can also use the fund drive to set up your monthly or one-time donations to Oregon Public Broadcasting.
