The Center for the Study of Women in Society will hold an information session for faculty and graduate students interested in applying for research grants.
The session will be held Wednesday, Nov. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Jane Grant Room in Hendricks Hall. People are welcome to bring brown-bag lunches.
Information on the competitive grant application process will be offered. CSWS director Michael Hames-Garcia and associate director Gabriela Martinez will be on hand for a question-and-answer session.
In addition to research grants, the center also awards grants for travel related to professional activity and for delivering women- and gender-related papers at conferences. For information about funding deadlines, click here.
