Soon the University of Oregon's Microsoft platform will be looking good in green and yellow.

On Oct. 17, Information Services will be adding the UO logo and colors in two locations:  

• Microsoft 365 web portal at office.uoregon.edu. 
• Microsoft password screen — the second screen in the login process for Microsoft applications, UO VPN and certain other UO services. (The initial login screen will keep its Microsoft branding.) 

The change will bring visual alignment with other UO technology services, along with some cybersecurity benefits.

"We're delighted for these fundamental tools to reflect our UO community," said José Domínguez, chief information security officer. "This should help you distinguish our own legitimate Microsoft services from imposters set up by cybercriminals."

Anyone with questions can submit a ticket through the Microsoft Office 365 support page in the UO Service Portal or contact the IT staff who support their unit or the Technology Service Desk.
