It’s easier than ever to get the latest information about COVID-19 and check your symptoms on the UO app before coming to campus.
The UO has added a symptom self-check tool to the UOregon Mobile App for students and employees to use each day before they come to campus. The self-check is also available on the UO website.
The updated app also features a new campus map showing every building’s opening status, as well as a host of other COVID-19 resources.
As part of the University of Oregon’s safety-forward fall resumption efforts — and in keeping with the Oregon Health Authority Higher Education guidance — UO students and employees are required to monitor their health to assess whether they have any COVID-related symptoms before coming to or moving about any UO campus.
The symptom self-check asks one question: “Are you experiencing any of these symptoms?” Self-checkers will need to answer yes or no for each item on the list. Answers will not be stored or shared.
It is possible to have COVID-19 and not experience symptoms or to have symptoms that are not listed. So employees may wish to consult their health care provider, and students may contact University Health Services at 541-346-2770 if they have any concerns.
