An upcoming wellness seminar focuses on the psychology of goal-setting and provides tips for creating an environment for sticking with New Year’s resolutions.
University of Oregon psychology professor Elliot Berkman will give advice on goal-setting and what brain science says about the influence of publicly committing to a goal. The “Tips to Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions” presentation takes place Dec. 11 from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 110, Fenton Hall.
The seminar is free and open to all faculty members and staff. It will be broadcast live via a webinar to UO Portland and the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston.
