For the first time in program history, the Oregon softball team is the No. 1 ranked team in the nation.
The Ducks are a unanimous No. 1 as head coach Mike White's squad picked up the top spot in both the USA Today/NFCA top-25 poll and the ESPN.com/USA Softball top-25 poll.
Oregon's No. 3 ranking in both polls at the end of the regular season last year was the team's previous best before climbing to No. 2 earlier this year.
The Ducks started the 2014 season ranked No. 8 in both polls.
Under White, the Ducks have been ranked for 69 straight weeks in the USA Softball poll and 62 weeks in a row in the NFCA poll.
Oregon took 2-of-3 from previous No. 1 ranked UCLA last weekend after sweeping then-No. 5 ranked Washington the series prior.
The Ducks are 34-5 this season and sit atop the Pac-12 Conference standings with an 8-1 league mark.
Oregon heads to Corvallis this weekend for a three-game Civil War series with rival Oregon State starting on Saturday.
