Open enrollment, the mandatory process through which PEBB-eligible employees select their benefit plans for the next calendar year, will take place Oct. 1-31 at pebbenroll.com.
All benefits-eligible faculty, classified staff and officers of administration must participate.
Pay extra attention to open enrollment this year
There are two aspects of open enrollment that make your participation especially crucial this year:
First, PEBB has announced that employees who do not complete open enrollment this year will not have medical insurance coverage in 2027 for themselves or their dependents. This is a change from past years.
Second, Providence will no longer offer health insurance beginning in 2027. Most faculty and staff are Providence members and will need to select a new medical plan during open enrollment.
Do I need to complete open enrollment?
If you’re a benefits-eligible University of Oregon faculty member, classified staff member or officer of administration, you need to complete open enrollment this October. This includes:
- 2026 Providence Health Plan members.
- 2026 Moda or Kaiser Permanente members.
- New academic year employees, who also enroll separately in 2026 benefits.
- Any new employees who started in 2026, who also enrolled separately in 2026 benefits.
