The University of Oregon's Department of Human Physiology will host a lecture on “Patient Outcomes Following Knee Injury: Clinical Trends and Current Research,” on Nov. 8.
The talk, given by Andrew Winterstein of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, is part of an ongoing lecture series presented by the UO's Human Physiology Department. Winterstein’s lecture will take place in Lillis 132, from 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
Winterstein is an associate clinical professor of kinesiology in the University of Wisconsin's Athletic Training Education Program. He is the director of the CAATE-accredited athletic training education program.
He holds a clinical appointment at Wisconsin's University Health Services and an affiliate appointment in the Department of Orthopedic Rehabilitation in the School of Medicine and Public Health. He was the assistant athletic trainer at UW-Madison from 1986 to 2000.
Winterstein received his master's degree in applied physiology and athletic training from the UO in 1986.
