Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the upcoming Strategic Planning Workshop on Friday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the EMU Walnut Room.
The strategic planning effort is led by the Office of the Provost and aims to attract high quality, diverse students, faculty and staff; promote student access, retention and success; elevate research and expand graduate education; and enhance infrastructure for academic excellence. The effort is the collective work of a steering committee and four task force workgroups.
The April 3 workshop will be hosted by strategic planning task force team No. 4, which is co-chaired by Jamie Moffitt, vice president for finance and administration, and Susan Anderson, professor of German and interim head of the Department of East Asian Languages and Literature. The team is focused on enhancing physical and IT infrastructure to ensure academic excellence on campus.
The campus community is invited to join the task force in identifying and prioritizing infrastructure and technology needs on campus.
More information on the strategic planning process can be found on the provost's website.
