The UO employee and student members of the Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will hold office hours during the next two weeks, in advance of the board’s Dec. 9-10 quarterly meeting.
New faculty trustee Gerard Sandoval, a professor in the School of Planning, Public Policy and Management, will hold an open office drop-in Friday, Dec. 5, from noon to 2 p.m. in 140 Erb Memorial Union (Rogue Room).
Lillian Moses, the nonfaculty staff member on the board, will have virtual office hours with officers of administration from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, and with classified staff from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. Moses is the director of housing capital construction within University Housing and joined the board in July 2022.
Graduate student trustee, Cy Abbott, will hold office hours open to all students, faculty and staff Wednesday, Dec. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. in 202 Condon Hall. Abbott is a PhD student researching political border delineation after receiving an MS in geography in 2022 and is serving the second year of his term on the board.
Undergraduate student trustees David Mitrovčan Morgan and Taliek Lopez-DuBoff will hold an in-person office hour Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 3 to 4 p.m., in the ASUO office, 004 Erb Memorial Union. Lopez-DuBoff, a third-year student studying planning, public policy and management, was appointed to the board Oct. 1; Mitrovčan Morgan is a senior studying data science and economics serving in the second year of his term. They will each host an additional opportunity for students to connect Monday, Dec. 1: Lopez-DuBoff from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hendricks Hall Hearth conference room and Mitrovčan Morgan from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom.
Individuals interested in attending the in-person office hours are welcome to join at any time during the sessions and no RSVP is required. Those interested in attending Moses’ or Mitrovčan Morgan’s virtual office hours should RSVP via email to trustees@uoregon.edu to obtain login information.
