Work-Life Resources in the University of Oregon's Human Resources office, will host the Webinar, "Youth on Campus: Next Steps in Developing Practices and Protocols," from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
The Webinar, in the Human Resources Training Room on the fourth floor of the Peace Health North building, is presented by PaperClip Productions. It will focus on how those in the higher education community can protect minors who are visiting their campuses.
The 90-minute webinar will feature expert panelists and a Q&A session with higher education colleagues from around the country who are simultaneously participating from their campuses. The cost is $289, and those wishing to attend may register online.
Participants are expected to learn about their moral and legal responsibilities to children visiting their campuses, and potential policies and procedures that may be put in place to protect them.
