Willamalane’s Tiny Ducks preschool has spots for UO families

University of Oregon faculty and staff will again have priority for Willamalane Park and Recreation District’s Tiny Duck preschool program in 2025-26. To be eligible, children need to:

  • Be at least three years old by Sept. 1.
  • Be bathroom independent by Sept. 1.
  • Have a parent or guardian who is a UO faculty or staff member.

The first step in registering children for Tiny Ducks is to add your name to the 2025-26 interest list. Classroom space is limited and will be filled from the interest list on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots not claimed by university employees will be made available to the general public after July 25.

The preschool is located at the Bob Keefer Center, 250 South 32nd Street in Springfield. Monthly fees are $1,045 for families who live in the Willamalane district, and $1,254 for those who live outside of the district. 

Willamalane expanded their preschool offerings last year thanks to funding from the university’s Childcare Community Partnership Investment Fund.
