The 36th annual conference of Oregon Women in Higher Education will be held this January in Bend, and the organization inviting members and potential members from the UO.
This year’s conference theme is “Re-Imagining Success: Reflect. Connect. Act.” The event takes place Jan. 21-22 at The Riverhouse hotel.
The organization provides opportunities to connect women across Oregon higher education institutions, engage in professional development and foster and lead change in the field. More than 100 women attend the annual conference.
One goal of this year’s event is to increase and balance representation from different institutions and from different professional fields in higher education. Faculty, staff, instructors, students and administrators all are invited.
Members of UO community are invited to attend the conference, submit a proposal for a workshop or presentation or nominate a colleague for an excellence award.
