With four dean searches underway, candidates for all of them could be on campus at the same time in the weeks following spring break.

The UO is a qualified employer under the federal program, so employees who have made 120 payments on their student loans can apply.

Swimming, rock climbing, games and more are part of the spring break camps for kids offered through the physical education and recreation program.

All four finalists for vice president for research and innovation will make campus visits this month into early March to meet with the campus community.

Havazelet taught creative writing at the UO since 1999 and is remembered as 'firey, brillian, unstinting (and) mercurial' by faculty colleagues.

During meetings Thursday and Friday, trustees also will hear about resource realignment, leadership searches and capital planning efforts.

An outstanding professional adviser and an oustanding faculty adviser will be selected and honored at a campus ceremony in May.

The reception will be an opportunity to hear from campus leaders about the need for candidates and volunteers for the Senate and committees.
