Elite track and field athletes and their fans descend July 3-4 upon Hayward Field for the Prefontaine Classic. A free fan experience called the Marshfield District takes place on Agate Street.
The event brings closures that may affect employee driving routes between now and July 5. Agate Street will be closed between East 15th to 18th avenues. Several nearby parking lots will also be closed. Refer to the Transportation Services parking webpage for details on lots 30, 34C, 38, 39 and 43. A-Central zone parking along University Street next to Esslinger Hall and McArthur Court will be reserved for the meet.
Portions of East 17th Avenue and Columbia Street may also close temporarily during the East Campus Housing/Next Generation Residence Halls project.
