Forum, discussion this week on issue of on arming UO police

A third campus forum to discuss the issue of arming campus police officers will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the Knight Library Browsing Room. Two previous forums were Feb. 11 and Feb. 26.

The fifth of five open, small-group meetings with interim UOPD Chief Carolyn McDermed will be on Tuesday, March 5, from noon to 1 p.m., in the EMU Walnut Room.

Exhibit of Four Corners photography opens this week at MNCH

"Silent Spaces," an exhibition of photographs by Eugene artist Jon Meyers that capture scenes of the Four Corners area of the United States, opens Wednesday, March 6, at the University of Oregon's Museum of Natural and Cultural History.

The exhibition features 30 large-format photographs of Hovenweep National Monument and Chaco Canyon National Park in the Four Corners region of the American Southwest. Four Corners is where the borders of southwestern Colorado, northwestern New Mexico, northeastern Arizona and southeastern Utah come together.
