When Al Jazeera America launches later this month, a familiar University of Oregon economist may get some airtime.

UO Blogs is a centrally managed, WordPress-based content management system. It can be used by anyone with an active DuckID to create any kind of website or blog, from one used by a campus department to one used for projects or events.
The site takes users through the simple steps to create a website. Because WordPress is designed for low-tech users, the process isn’t complicated.

Study: Maternal smoking during pregnancy associated with offspring conduct problems
Smoking during pregnancy appears to be a prenatal risk factor associated with conduct problems in children, according to a study recently published online by JAMA Psychiatry.
The paper drew upon data from three different studies, including an adoption-at-birth study conducted by researchers affiliated with the University of Oregon.
