Oregon law student witnesses historic elections in Pakistan

Will Johnson is pursuing a concurrent J.D./MA in International Studies, and is scheduled to complete his degree requirements in May 2014. He recently returned to the UO School of Law from Pakistan, where he was a lecture and research fellow with the American Institute of Pakistan Studies. Below is a first-person account from Johnson about his time in Pakistan, where he had the opportunity to witness the country's national elections.

UO commencement to celebrate graduates and families on June 17

The University of Oregon will celebrate more than 5,000 eligible graduates in commencement exercises on Monday, June 17.

Graduates are encouraged to celebrate along with their families and members of the community in a day filled with activities throughout campus. No tickets will be required at any of the 2013 graduation ceremonies, and graduates may invite as many guests as they choose.

Mobile interface design worth $15,000 to student winners

The inaugural Colligan User Interface Design Challenge seeks to inspire UO students from all programs and classes to create an attractive and dynamic graphical user interface designed for use on a mobile platform.

OUR Journal seeks submissions of student research by June 28

The Oregon Undergraduate Research Journal (OUR Journal) is an online, open access undergraduate research journal at the University of Oregon developed by students at the UO, who carry out all facets of its operation. The publication showcases some of the best research and writing by UO undergraduates. OUR Journal launched its fourth issue (Volume 4, Number 1) in the spring of 2013, which can be accessed at http://journals.oregondigital.org/OURJ.
